Young consumers who enter the workplace directly without going to college or even graduating from high school face very tough realities:

  • Many don't have core financial literacy skills.
  • Many begin their first job with impaired credit.
  • Both the workers and the workplace are hurt by these realities.

FoolProof WorkPlace tackles these realities. we give you approximately seven hours of video-driven training in both core financial literacy skills and critical thinking. The modules emphasize the particular pitfalls entry-level workers face in the free enterprise system.

A different approach than FoolProof's traditional modular programs:

FoolProof's WorkPlace Skills Initiative integrates membership in a credit union as part of the learning process.

Exclusive to highly custom credit unions: your WorkPlace Skills program can include a special video featuring your credit union.

Target Audience:

School use: The program is designed for use in alternative high schools, career and technical schools, charter schools, and special education classes.

Valuable to SEGS: If your credit union represents SEGS with many entry-level workers, or if your SEGS include community groups or works with under served populations, you will find this program valuable.

FoolProof WorkPlace is designed to work with your SEG’s Employee Orientation Programs:

FoolProof WorkPlace allows a SEG to add a turnkey training section on the importance of financial responsibility to their existing orientation and training programs.

WorkPlace brings flexibility to instructors and students:

  • Our modules can be used as part of an instructor’s existing workplace readiness instruction. And instructors can use one or all modules.
  • Portions of the programs can be used in a self-directed format that allows students to work through the program on their own.
